My bloggy woggy.
The other day my Dad and Sally and I walked into a little paper store on University Ave. in Palo Alto just a couple blocks from Sal’s casa. I found this map and asked my Dad if he would buy it for me as an early Birthday present. Yesterday I finally had the motivation to hang it up with some other special things in my room.
I put little pins on all the cities I have been to. I want to fill that bad boy up.
Now I can’t help but see maps everywhere. And they seem so romantic to me. I want to travel the country and then the world with someone special one day. I want to go on adventures!!
I have been going up to Tahoe since I was a wee little baby. My dad would take us fishing and spend the whole time untangling our poles and putting new hooks on. He still takes us fishing but now we are a little less needy and he doesn’t have to take us to the little stocked pond.
Anyways, we are going back up to spend Thanksgiving and it makes me think of all the beautiful Tahoe memories I have.
super blessed.
His strength is perfect when our strength is gone
He’ll carry us when we can’t carry on
Raised in his power the weak becomes strong
His strength is perfect

Today my dear brother turns 21. Shocker, right? He has been 21 since he turned 16.
Dearest brother, I love you. Thank you for being one of my very best friends. I learn so much from you every day and am so proud of you. Here are some of my favorite pics of you… haha. LOVE YA!
The good Lord heard my prayers and delivered me Heather this weekend from Santa Barbara. I love her. We got to catch up and she let me cry and drool all over her shirt like a good best friend. I got to spend quality time with my second family and got to say bye to Matt as he moves to Colorado for a year! Heather is dating a really cute Air Force boy who is from Texas and takes her hunting and stuff. SWOOOOOON. Wedding bells are getting loud at The Parken’s house. What? Who said that?

Heather and I made garlic mashed potatoes and brown gravy to go along with the stuffed portabelo mushrooms and the pork and beef and three salads. Typical.
Alec told me if I brought Gordon Ramsay home to meet them he would kick his ass.
It rained this week and Jake borrowed my puffy jacket from high school. He looks good in it. I like puffy stuff.
You are the best thing that’s ever been mine.
